Also if goods arrive later than the requested date, we will only reimburse for each day the hired item was late, and not the full weeks hire payment. Chriska Stage Supplies accepts no responsibility for hired items arriving late for a specific show or production, and as such no compensation will be offered other than a pro rata amount of the weekly hire for that particular item. Chriska Stage Supplies will not be liable for any delay or other breach of contract resulting from postal/carrier delays or strikes, weather, wars, acts of God, non availability of goods due to previous hirers not returning goods on time, or other causes beyond their control. Chriska Stage Supplies shall not be liable in any way for loss, damage, loss of profits or of contracts or any other consequential loss of any kind suffered by the customer or any third party on account of delay, late delivery, defect or deficiency, or non availability of or relating to any goods being available or any failure, error or mistake by anyone at Chriska. Accidental damage, loss or alteration to hired items will be charged for and the security deposit paid, plus additional costs can be requested as seen neccessary. All packing materials/bags etc. used for backcloths and props must be re-used to return the items in, otherwise they will be charged for. Backcloths must be re-folded correctly, folding into the actual scene to prevent damage. It is essential they are returned folded correctly and in their correct bags.
